Favorite Chocolate Chip Cookie Recipe

I fell in love with cooking as a little girl watching and helping my Grammy!

As I’ve grown older our kitchen has become my favorite place in our home. I love making memories with my girls and creating traditions that will last a lifetime!

As Easter approaches, it’s one of my favorite holidays to indulge in all the sweet treats!!

Trust me when I say these are a must to any family function!!

Ingredients:

2 cups shortening

1 ½ cups brown sugar

1 ½ cups white sugar

4 eggs

2 tsp vanilla

2 tsp salt

2 tsp baking soda, in 2 T warm water

1 soft banana

1 package chocolate chips

4 cups oatmeal

3 cups flour

Mix well and drop with a scooper onto greased cookie sheet. Bake at 350° for 10 minutes or just until they are golden brown.
